Are You Walking in Abundance?

What can you give away?

My Wednesday Wish for you is to notice your abundance—and let it spill over.

We say it sometimes when we’re venting: “I know, I know… first world problems.” And we’re not wrong. Even on our hardest days, many of us have access to comforts, choices, and safety that most of the world does not. That isn’t meant to shame our stress—it’s meant to steady our perspective.

Abundance isn’t only money. It’s time you can offer. Grace you can extend. An opportunity you can open for someone else. A seat at your table. A text that says, “I’m with you.” A recommendation, an introduction, a shared resource, a listening ear. Community. Encouragement. Hope.

And here’s the wild part: giving tends to create more giving. Not because it’s transactional, but because it changes us. It expands our view. It lifts our mood. It reminds us we’re not powerless. It can even become a beautiful kind of “addiction”—the more you practice generosity, the more you want to live that way.

Imagine how different the world would feel if we were focused on contributing instead of accumulating.

So here’s your question for the week: What do you have that you can give away?

And if you’re feeling depleted, take stock with honesty and compassion. How is it with your purpose? Your provision—what you make and what you spend? The people you surround yourself with? Your connection to community? Your health?

If there’s one small action that could improve your lot, what is it—and how might it change your ability to face the world with abundance?
